Like the Rhopoint IQ-S, the Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20-S measures 20-degree gloss and profiles how light is reflected from a surface. Standard gloss meters only measure how much light is reflected and are not sensitive to effects which dramatically reduce appearance quality, this is why an IQ glossmeter is a signifgicant upgrade on a standard glossmeter.

The Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20-S is specifically designed for difficult surfaces or small parts. The small footprint of the IQ FLEX 20-S sensor makes it much more effective on curved surfaces and difficult-to-reach areas than a conventional gloss meter.

IQ FLEX measurements are fully compatible with existing Rhopoint IQ-S gloss and appearance data.

For improved performance and repeatability on even the smallest parts, the Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20-S can be customised with magnetically attached adaptor plates. Using 3D printing technology, it is possible to create custom measuring jigs from the CAD diagrams of your components. These adaptors can be easily interchanged for different applications as required.

The Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20-S has been designed for maximum adaptability and can use non-contact plates for in-line applications or with adaptors of rubber, felt or plastic for delicate surfaces.
