The Rhopoint IQ-S was specially designed to match automotive interior gloss measurement standards with measurement data fully compatible with existing Micro-TRI-gloss-S results.
All IQ-S instruments are close tolerance, ensuring that you can achieve maximum accuracy, repeatability, and comparability.
The innovative linear diode array used inside the Rhopoint IQ-S measures not only gloss but also profiles how light is reflected from a surface. Standard gloss meters only measure how much light is reflected and are not sensitive to effects which dramatically reduce appearance quality.

Built in back-lit colour display: built-in display and user-friendly UI simplifies the operation of the device, and minimises the risk of operator error.
Designed for utility: portable instrument designed with a simple built-in control pad, high speed measurement, and rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
Greatly expanded surface data: the linear diode array provides additional surface data for RIQ/DOI, reflectance haze and Rspec, allowing the operator to greatly expand reporting and enhance control of processes that cause surface defects.
